New Raid Content Too Easy
Written by Flip
Wednesday, 03 December 2008
Naxxramas 10 cleared in only two raid sessions. 1-shot on most bosses, final boss was a 2-shot. Archavon 10 and 25 were both 1-shot, Sartharion 10 was a challenge for all of 10 minutes. Naxx 25-man is scheduled for next week, and I suspect we'll have the same results there.
Blizzard really dumbed down this entry level content. Naxx-10 is nothing like Karazhan was in the first weeks of BC, absolutely no comparison at all. Karazhan was difficult in those first few weeks, required a good group, and everyone had to bring their A-game. Naxx-10 is a joke. Tic Tac Toe is more challenging than this crap. Is this really what's required to allow the PVP geared scrubs of the BC days an instance to be successful in? You'd have to be a group of retarded pugs with DPS spec'd healers and no voice comms for this place to be difficult. Molten Core was more challenging... UBRS was more challenging.
Is this the future of WoW raiding?
None of this content has been worth a screenshot, so here's a shot of something more challenging than the content Blizzard has provided so far.
Illidan Stormrage Down
Written by Flip
Sunday, 14 September 2008
Tonight, despite being plagued by disconnects, crashes, high pings, and Vreaper AFKs, the Vorpal Rabbits of Lightbringer have slain Lord Illidan Stormrage.
Congratulations to all our dedicated players who made this possible by chipping away at the Burning Crusade expansion, 12 hours per week, one week at a time, for a total of nearly 30 dead end game bosses. Tonight our efforts have finally paid off, we've accomplished the task we began nearly one year ago.
